Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, this afternoon officiated the Opening Ceremony of the Fifth ASEAN Junior Fellowship Programme (AJFP) with the ASEAN Headquarters/ ASEAN Secretariat. The four-week programme, running from 27 July to 21 August 2026, is generously supported by Brunei Darussalam and Japan. During the programme, the 23 Junior Fellows will undertake attachments with ASEAN Secretariat divisions, engage with the diplomatic community in Jakarta, interact with ASEAN-associated entities, and take part in activities that would foster a deeper understanding of ASEAN, regional cooperation, and the work of the ASEAN Secretariat.
